These videos of email samples are of the 420 Expo email designs, with images designed in Abode Illustrator, gifs created in Adobe Photoshop & HTML setup in Adobe Dreamweaver to the specifications of the email company (that was partnered with) for the events. Using the lists from Campaign Monitor we were able to send out monthly emails about appearances, schedules & general event information, leading up to each event, along with holiday ticket sales, which were quite playful & fun to design.
These same email templates were also used for the other events, which allowed for an even more playful spin on holiday ticket sales, along with emails leading up to each event. Such as top 10, stage & seminar schedule & opens today. These were sent out weeks before each event to point everyone to the website, which was the marketing tool for each event.
The issue we faced with sending out emails from these ‘fringe’ events was the bounce rate, due to the naming of files & content, we designed them with separate images instead of live text. Unfortunately some of the links caused our bounce rates to be high, so we decided to help reduce that by naming each image the date, then (-1. -2, -3) & so-on. This lowered our bounce rate by about 20%.
